January 7, 2025

GB Bank joins the Insignis platform to support savers and communities

We’re pleased to announce that GB Bank has joined the Insignis panel of deposit-takers, expanding the range of savings products available to clients.

As a purpose-driven institution, GB Bank is focused on supporting SME property developers and regenerating underserved communities across the UK. With products ranging from easy access accounts to five-year fixed-term bonds, GB Bank brings added choice and flexibility to the Insignis platform — along with FSCS protection (if eligible).

A shared commitment to positive impact

GB Bank received its full UK banking licence in August 2022 and has already gained recognition as an award-winning, community-focused institution. Its mission is clear: to enable regional growth through accessible finance for commercial and residential property developments.

Rob Reed, Chief Savings Officer at GB Bank, said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Insignis — it is fantastic that GB Bank can support UK savers by offering product diversity and competitive rates, with the added peace of mind of FSCS protection. We’re proud to support Insignis in delivering exceptional service to the UK savings market.”

This partnership supports our ongoing goal of helping clients diversify their holdings across a growing range of deposit-takers, while contributing to a financial ecosystem that supports local growth.

More choice, more protection

Paul Richards, Chairman of Insignis, added:
“We are delighted to welcome GB Bank to our panel. This specialist bank is dedicated to building and regenerating communities across the UK. Their addition enhances our platform offering, giving clients more options to diversify their cash and access additional FSCS protection where eligible.”

With competitive interest rates and a strong community purpose, GB Bank offers a compelling combination of financial return and social impact.
